What’s the most embarrassing thing that you did during your online class?


It was my first class of Engineering Mechanics, and the rule is you have to join the meeting (in my case it on MS TEAMS) 10 minutes before the starting time of the class.

Our teacher sent the link to the class 10 minutes before to our respective mail id, it was morning and i felt too lazy to open the mail and then click on that link and join class

So i directly clicked on the link given by our CR on our WhatsApp group.

Class started.

Dogs were barking

Cows were mooing

Automobile noise

because of someone named Anand Kumar (i thought he was a peer) as he didn't switch off his microphone.

I got TRIGGERED.

I thought some student is trying to disturb our Sir .

So i unmuted my microphone and in a typical marathi tone (just like Paresh Rawal in HeraPheri) i asked

“Ae Anand Kumar apna mic off karna… kutta bhonk ne ka aawaz aa raha hai”

Just couple of seconds later i thought ”Excuse me bro, what if Anand Kumar is our teacher” as i didn't know the name of my teacher so i minimized my MsTeams app and checked the mail and

then i came to know

.

Anand Kumar is our teacher .

I got scared because i have read on quora that one should never disrespect professors in college,

because when they come to their level they can give you very good marks in your exams.(Sarcasm here)

Switched to MS Teams

Sir really muted his microphone.

Because this is not the way to talk to a teacher.

I got shocked, so i texted sir on MS TEAMS

Well he wasn't angry at all , he was chill, for him this was okay.

Lesson learnt today

Always be respectful towards others , never insult any soul.

Try to do things slowly so that you dont make an error.

And

Never go for any shortcut.

Not every sir is like our Anand sir , so be careful.
